Pros & Cons
Pros
The old ones make the lights flicker occasionally. They hid the reverse switch under the light kit so you have to remove the globe to reverse the fan. Pro when installing the fan blades use the two 3 inch wood screws (if not already in use) to align t... Read More
This fan is perfect for my sunroom. It’s not a “ceiling hugger” by definition but is plenty close enough to be considered one. Item looks exactly as pictured.
Both of our fans are wonderfully quiet. The remote control is a godsend. It is so quiet and stylish.
Cons
Fan is very difficult to fit the receiver in this one, very easy on the other. This fan has irritated me so much that i have to warn you. This thing is a safety hazard. I'm having them removed and trashing them. Extremely frustrating.
The noise level is bad ~ requires noise cancelation buds to be anywhere near it. Changed the remote battery to no avail. It’s too bad i can’t bypass the remote circuitry and just hook up the light to an external switch.
Light fixture is disproportionately large on the 44 fan. Our electrician tells us it’s not the bulbs. Im not sure if the electrician installing it had something to do with it or if the light cover thingy is to thick.
Highlights
Quality
All the parts are well made and the instructions are excellent.
Pros: quiet motor, 3 speed settings, two ceiling height mounting post options, uses two standard base light bulbs (included).
The 44 inch fan does not - led lights, yes, but not color changing, and they are two traditional shape lightbulbs.
The blue light on the remote that blinks when you press the button is annoying, wish i could turn that off.
Price
A prime day purchase at a great price.

Shipping
Very quiet arrived early have one in each bedroom
Packaging/appearance
It wasn't easy but it looks great.
Competitiveness
We also wanted one that had normal sized bulbs so that we could replace them with hue bulbs.
