Pros

Easy to assemble following included directions. All 5 fan blades should be installed after you mount the fan bracket and motor. Install the fan speed and light pulling chains before attaching the bottom light bulb housing.

Cons

Design of this fan is very installer-unfriendly. Light kit wiring harness is too short to mate with the wiring harness from the fan. The fan is also the noisiest i have installed to date.

There is no guide to get the blades aligned with the screw holes, other than just eye-balling it. The 15 fan blade screws fit very poorly into the pre-drilled metal as the drill work seemed inconsistent. Lining up the blades to brackets is a pain.

The fan was purchased for use in a bedroom, and the sound disturbed sleep. It still fills the house with a terrible stink.

-connecting the 9 pin connector from ceiling fan motor to light bulb housing is irritating because the wiring compartment is very cramped.

This was my first attempt at a solo diy ceiling fan removal/installation and took about 3 hours.
