The glass light globes are very solid and heavy, and securely screw into the metal light housing. It tilts a bit when you pull chains.

Have a good ladder and, ideally 2 ladders so your helper can be up there with you. Hang the bracket on the ceiling like normal. Flip it over on the styrofoam.

Other reviews have described the nightmare of installing this. I regret this purchase and regret that hunter didn't do a better job designing this fan.

First pic is broken pull chain (for fan speed) after about 5 days of use. The housing for the pull chain needs to be positioned on an angle as opposed to a 45 degree. When you pull either chains the whole fan unit wobbles a lot.

Total dud. Do yourself a favor and buy something else.

The switch to reverse the rotation of the blades is under the glass. I am worried that the glass will fall on one of my clients during a session. It is also very difficult to balance a 3 blade fan.
