I had absolutely no problem with the install.
We have not experienced any trouble with the wall remotes for that one and the one nearby over the table interfering with each other.

I also tested one unit with a newer hampton bay (flowe 52) that had a missing remote and same great results.
I called hunter tech support and for some reason was told that they cannot be used in place of a 3way switch.
I also use dimmable leds for the fan lights.
I bought two of these to go in place of the 2 3way switches at each entrance to the room.

In this case the wires from the unit were yellow pink blue grey on the fan side and black white red on the circuit side too many wire and the color code was not documented in the owners manual

I tried different combinations but no success with this older fan anyway the receiver unit was warmer than usual after that test and i thought i had damaged it but it just works fine

I took it apart to see what was in the box nothing other than a very flat circuit board and a protruding battery tray that extended past the circuit board may 38

I had to shave off enough material from the gang box to provide a pocket for the extra thickness from the rivet

At first the receiver didnt fit in its slot in the mounting bracket because of the angled ceiling

Used the new angled ceiling bracket that did not come with the fan and got the receiver to fit nicely wired it all up and found incorrectly that the light would not dim with led bulbs

As another poster pointed out and as i missed in the directions under trouble shooting turn the light switch off and back on
