Only problem is that the remote does not have the ability to change the direction of the blades since my fan does not have a switch on the top of the fan for this purpose

This works fine to turn on and off my fan and light which are up 16 feet but it is pricy and seems fragile

It sits very snuggly in its wall cradle which i use basically like i would a wall switch not like a tv remote sitting on the table
