This fan is not as easy to install as others i have installed. The receiver takes up to 30 minutes to warm up and turn on. The problem is that it is connected to a light switch which is right at the door.

And a sidenote with that if you are using philips hue or other smart bulbs you have to make sure you press the lightbulb button on the remote so that the bulbs will remain connected essentially like leaving the light switch on even though the bulbs will be off
