When i tried to add a brighter bulb the light would flicker due to the voltage governor that is built into the remote receiver

Our only complaint here is that the neat retro lightbulb that comes with the fan and matches its design is not very bright

If the cage is not seated perfectly it rattles

It took a very long time to put up even after i recruited an extra pair of hands because it was difficult to line up the tiny screws and holes while holding the fan over your head and not having good visibility

The hand held remote is nice but the wall holder that comes with the remote is terrible ugly and cheap looking and not at all a match in to my white fan nor my white light switches

If you have an 8 foot ceiling you may want to think twice about this fixture unless it will hang over a table or other piece of furniture so no one will run into it
