Fan is very quiet during operation of all speeds, just a strong hum on initial start up. The breeze it produces moves the heavy humid hawaiian air quite well. Lowering it at night reduces the noise significantly.

The remote works very well and comes an with easy to understand instructions card. See attached picture of remote instructions.

Comes with external bracket to mount. I agree with some reviewers that the mounting screws should be white, but i also agree with other reviewers that you just need to dab the screw with white paint if you are so inclined.

The dimming is a bit weird as it goes in steps, but it’s fine and does a good job. I find the amount of light the unit gives at 50% level is sufficient enough to not bother increasing the brightness level. It is so easy to disable the beep.

Luminous flux 1700 but it's only 1300 which is too dark for the kitchen. It's about as bright as a candle. When we went to change bulbs couldn't because it's and led module can not be replaced.
