I love the section for knives - i no longer have my husband washing knives and putting them in the drainer handle first - a major hazard.
The product, utinsel drainer, was sent immediately and arrived the next day.
The water drains down through holes in the bottom into a tray that is the base of the drainer.
Also wish there were drain holes in the stand.
Competitiveness
Works great if you don't want to keep a drainer on the counter.
I've been looking for a cutlery drainer like this for a while.
Bought this to replace a drainer that was metal and rusted.
Our drainer got old and we bought a cute one which eventually got rustic.

My previous silverware drainer which immediately went in the trash when i got this one did not have enclosed compartments so my silverware was constantly sliding down to the bottom so you have to take the bottom tray off to get it out

There is not room for a silverware drainer in the dish drainer

It sits on top of a second longer container with no holes so the water inside the second container has to be emptied out

Also the knife lots have different sizes so depending on where you put the knife and how long the knife is its possible for some knives to touch the water collecting at the bottom of the second container which i do not like
