Pros

It's made to hold lids and utensils. This holder is so cool looking and works fabulously well. I have a gas cooktop so i'm careful to keep it at a reasonable distance to avoid melting issues others have mentioned.

Lids that drip onto the countertop can now be held in place by a knob. The knob holds the lid in place so it doesn't drip on the countertops.

Holds even a 12 glass lid very sturdily. Holds even my largest lid securely and catches drips. It's so sturdy it holds my le creuset dutch oven lid.

Cons

The one i got is a lot smaller and fairly flimsy. Not so sturdy. Very disappointing. I have a larger square lid for my fryer and it falls out every time.

I am so far happy with the purchase.

I was nervous about setting my big 12 glass lids on this stand but when i place the lid with the handle between the posts it's very stable.

One of the pictures(the man with the potholder in front of him) makes it look like a penis holder instead!

Light weight, easy to move out of the way.

It catches the drips, no temperature i can get my lids to is too hot for it, it's sleek and modern, and it's easy to clean.
