Pros

First time ordering this on line. My local grocery is out of stock $4. Amazon has at $11. Never before from amazon.

Cons

The ad misrepresents what you'll get. Most stores refuse stock with less than 6 months before bbd. The is a big difference and borders on a bait and switch scam.

Amazon will not refund that many orders from this seller. It's not available for a return or refund. Says it's not returnable or i have to * all costs.

The sauce was shipped loose in a box. The container is so small that it will make one dish. Seal was popped open with sauce dried spille dout into the lid.

The sauce is good but this shady company has a pic of 18oz jars and only sent 8oz jars. Has a very bad taste, don't know if it's spoiled or what, doesn't taste like other jars i have bought in the past.

Love this chili sauce, have been consuming it in massive quantities for years, then it disappeared from the store shelves.

No expiration date was on the jar so it is impossible to determine if this was a new product or simply an unsold older product.

This product is already hard to find, and wasting even one bottle makes me angry.

50 jar of product, i spent $14.

Found it here online for a ridiculously high price.

Price was a little high, but i was willing to pay the higher price because i was able to get it.

The price over here is also reasonable and affordable for 3 jars.

It arrived super fast and was well packed.

If you’re buying this item it is not shipping from amazon and they do not have control of the delivery.

Purchased 4 amazon fulfilled the order and received only 3.

The delivery took significantly longer than anticipated, but did finally arrive in good condition.

Packaging/appearance

This vendor puts them in a box and they arrive in perfect condition.

Whoever is poking 6 of these bottles in an unpadded priority mail box is wasting food!

Mine arrived with a crushed box which had sambal leaked from being mashed.

The seals had been popped on several of them.

Competitiveness

There is just no comparison between huy fong sambal and the others i've tried.

It's in short supply right now and hard to find so the price is higher than others on the market but to me it's with the price.

They're obviously taking advantage of that as it's 36% less in the store.
