Pros

The quality of the item is very nice. It holds two k-pods worth of coffee plus creamer. Handsome and seems well-made.

Zojirushi keeps my coffee scorching hot all day. Even with the top tab open it keeps the coffee sorta warm. With or without the lid these hold heat and a large size coffee.

Love this mug. It's my whole day companion, love it! That’s the best ever. Enough time to read the new york times and do a few puzzles.

Outside coating feels slightly rubbery, hence flexible and not prone to chip and spall off. Love the soft touch surface. Now, no more ceramic mugs in my suitcase.

Cons

If the one i got is typical, and representative of the brand, all the talk is *. Kept my coffee hot for about 15 minutes.

The design of this mug includes a seam between the rubber and stainless steel. The steel and coating is separating, handle is very weak. I have other insulated cups that have worked just fine.

Packaging/appearance

Without any preheating (because cream is cold out of the frig) it keeps coffee hot for an hour.

My only complaints are related to this mug's exterior surface coating.

Competitiveness

I have many water bottles and mugs, and even a 32oz hydro flask bottle but this little 12oz mug beats it.

It is super easy to clean and hold a larger amount of coffe than most other mugs.
