It's very sturdy, just as sturdy as the metal one i used in the 1960's, but much much prettier.

The only reason for the 4 stars is the price.
I like that it is big enough to fit most containers plus i got it on sale!
$87 is way too much for a 13-year-old to take to middle school.
If you can afford it, go for it.

There is a decent amount of room on the inside of the box with a mesh pocket to hold other items.
Competitiveness
This is a fantastic product, and i would expect nothing less from the hydroflask brand.
I have both the kids size (blue) and the adult version (pink), in case anyone wants a size comparison.

Slightly bigger than the traditional size our kids would take maybe only an inch or two longer but it seems a lot bigger

Excellent find if your work doesnt provide a fridge or you have ot take something that is perishable on a long trip such as milk for a baby on a road trip
