They are quite sturdy and not too heavy. Easy to wash and stainless steel no worries on plastic or chemicals leaching into foods. Ease of cleaning and the color is beautiful. Only complaint is the price.

I have smaller plates that i use for camping at times

I won’t be able to set them on the campfire grate to keep food warm in that case

I didn’t intend to heat food on them but when the weather is cold slightly preheating the plate or being able to keep food warmed near the fire was something i intended to use these for
