I think somehow the pressure was occasionally causing the oring to become cross threaded between the cap and the container

Don’t like that is hard to drink from the bottle as the mouth is too big

They replied quickly to my email and after doing what they needed they sent me a whole new growler and since my stuck one was full of beer told me to keep it

The new growler has a different model number on the bottom and on the cap
