I used to have a standard mouth hydro flask and i must say i prefer the wide mouths because the place where you put your mouth to drink water out of is not exposed on wide mouth models but they are exposed on the standard mouth models

The lid does make a sound when opening and closing so if it will bother you opt for the straw mouth or something that’s won’t make as much noise
