Pros

It's a really clever design, you simply connect a standard air bubbler hose and it provides both filtration and aeration. The only complaint i would have is the large air bubbles that produce a gurgling sound. It's powered with just the air pump.

It works fabulously. Wanted to try these on my quarantine tanks before committing to putting them into my regular tanks. Works great, and it's nice to to have an option to use some vertical space.

Cons

Lots of bubbles but no suction means this thing is just nice looking garbage. It is flimsy, media covers are just snap ins! Also, its nozzle is terrible making the largest bubbles and spraying my light! Only one suction piece so it continuously tilts ... Read More

Either way, it is disappointing. Clearly got a faulty version of this. Wish it would have had better discretion and was quieter.
