Pros

The brightness is perfect, not too bright or too dim. The timer is also adjustable. These lights arevbright enough (ergo - bright is not the only need).

It is incredible in quality and use. Very pleased with light and packaging. Very satisfied with this product.

It seems as though it is still sealed decently though. Take caution, obviously, but know this thing isn't built with bubble gum and paperclips.

Cons

This light is garbage because of its useless timer. You have to use the internal timer that only has functions for 3/6/12 hrs. Timer does not turn the light off, just dims it to the lowest setting. Anything past that and this thing puts out light comp... Read More

They are very easy to use and are long lasting.

The five brightness settings are perfect for me so i can tailor brightness to species, they grow plants very well

Turn them on, set a timer (ours is 12 hours), then the lights go off and come back on the next day at the same time.

The wire connection on the white lights is broken, so if i jiggle the wire it will come on, but the connection is broken.

Price

Considering the lower price point of this light, the timer limitations are very minor

Not a big deal but the light will stay on 24/7.

Shipping

Be careful shipping bent the light, but i was able to fix and light is great.

Competitiveness

Compared to cheap aquarium lights that you just turn on/off this is a great improvement.
