Pros

New go-to heater for this casual. Temp is easy to control with the dial, and keeps the water temp steady. Only gripe is that you cannot set in-between temperatures.


Cons

I love the way this looks esthetically but sadly it’s not working in my 40 gal breeder. Not accurate at all. Will not buy from this mfg again.

    I never worry about my tank temperature dropping anymore and i live in a house with very poor insulation so it was a big concern of mine

    I dont know if i got defective ones but nearly every day i come home from work and one of the cups disconnected and the heater is lying on the bottom

    Occasionally small rams horns snails will get onto it and roast when the hear cycles on but it’s not enough to dent the population and seems to be unavoidable for intank heaters
