Pros

Keyboard is overall great for complementing your gaming computer color theme. The keyboard is substantial, sturdy, and well made.

It is very quiet. Great quiet typer. It’s more quiet but still has that satisfying click feeling. Mine is whisper quiet at all times.

Cons

The keys are a fake sort of click being louder than membrane keyboards but no better in any way. When the backlights are lit there is a high pitched squeal that's awful. Keystrokes are loud.

On top of the keyboard being unusable without backlighting it's not that great in other ways. The keyboard itself is unnecessarily heavy, keys feel loose and cheap, and the backlight is borderline blinding.

Quality

The quality of this product is amazing, this is the second keyboard that i bought because i love it so much.

And wow given the price, build quality and look&feel, i must say this is probably the best keyboard i've owned so far.

Just be aware the color settings suck pretty bad.

Update: 1/19/23 turns out, there is a gaming mode on the top left the g with the square.

Competitiveness

For the price of the hyperx alloy core rgb, it's an extremely well made keyboard.

I found this at a local bestbuy first and initially i was really skeptical.

For the price i don't think its competition are worth mentioning unless you enjoy superficials such as branding.
