Pros & Cons
Pros
The only negative i have about this keyboard is the usb passthrough.
It’s needlessly high quality. Unicorn * is just fine for me. If you're into * gaming, this is worth the buck.
Rgb is super bright, 4 brightness channels. The app allows you to fully customize the lighting. This is the brightest keyboard i have ever seen with a wonderful light touch.
The keys just travel like butter, customizable out the *. The media keys are also smooth and solid. Lettering is such that say on the 7 key, both 7 and the shifted value of the key & are lit and very viewable.
It's easily the best keyboard i've ever used and my fingers are thankful for this luxurious typing experience. The keys still give me the tactile feeling i need while typing, but i only need to put forward about a third of the effort i did previously.... Read More
Cons
Hyperx keyboards are the most prone to switch failure out of any keyboard i have ever used. Go to logitech, they have better software, peripherals and their quality control is very high.
After only 2 months the top row of letters randomly stops working. It causes blue screens. My guess is a faulty board. Everything works lights and all except that whole row of *. I'm sure they're not all defective right?

I really enjoy how high quality this product feels.
Hyperx has a lot of great quality products on the market.
This keyboard is not overdone and doesn't have that edgy "gamer" look.
Price
A really great keyboard for the price
For $100 you can't go wrong and you get wonderful cherry keys.
I just lost my $250 gaming keyboard and tried this.
Other than that, perfectly fine and glad i bought it for $90.
Packaging/appearance
From the packing, to the heft of the steel frame, to the dedicated media buttons and volume wheel (last i had one of these was ... Read More
First before i even opened the box i knew this was no cheapo keyboard.
It's very pretty; however the one i received is faulty.
Competitiveness
I was apprehensive about spending so much on a keyboard, but compared to other mechanical keyboards this one was a steal.
Also pair it with the hyperx wrist-rest, it makes a big difference with this particular keyboard.
Volume knob is perfect, way better than k70, but as good as logitech's g815 volume scroller.
Mine have the hyperx linear red, which i preferred over the other more clickey-switches (i tried them both).
