Pros & Cons
Pros
As a layman, could definitely hear a difference. However during watching movies/netflix it shines, as it deepens the sound more and makes the sound stage wider.
The hyperx cloud ii are still the best gaming headphones on the market in my personal opinion. Hands down hyperx is the best headset that i have personally owned so far.
Software is something to be desired but totally functional and they update it from time to time. Software also allows you to remap the * with the headset to a certain degree. Easy to sync up and ready to play. Uses a standard micro usb port if you wis... Read More
Cons
The headset occasionally disconnects and the mic will drop at random points. The mute button on the mic is useless as you can't even see it in your peripheral. Sound quality from a wired headset is terrible.
Ngenuity is a windows 10 store app and lemme tell ya it's hot trash. It's listed as part number hxs-hswa-csw on the hyperx website but (as of april 2021) is temporarily out of stock. The app is also garbage with very minimal options.
It produces an awfully tinny and unnatural sound profile. The mic sound is average at best. Default mode sounds like a cassette tape and an old beat up car.
This is so infuriating. The microphone is meh to me. Half-baked and overpriced.
The sound is the worst part of these headphones. Even for gaming these aren't good. Theyre not accurate enough to be able to tell where sounds are coming from.
