Yes, but the prices for those vary even more for large(ish) sticks of ram.
Competitiveness
I'm currently using xmp1 with speeds of 3200mhz.
Only problem is it's not appearing on hyperx ngenuity beta software.
Dell and apple charge over a grand for 128gb of ram.
Although they've gotten pricier over the years, i have yet to have one fail.

There was some kind of issue with using 4x 8gb sticks of this same brand which would also cap out at 2900mhz and not allow xmp1 profile even when they did work with the old bios
