It worked on my 7 odd years old toshiba laptop easy instalation try to find youtube video if you not confident upgraded from 6gb to 8gb with slightly faster clocks changed hdd to ssd windows startup around 20s mark

Don’t make the mistake i made and purchase this if you’ve a retina pro after this production date as the ram isn’t as straight forward as just swapping it over

Apple started to soldered these and other upgradeable components in their devices which makes it a gamble to upgrade unless you’re competent electronically

Finally settled on this because of the name and the review there is always going to be failures in ram you just have to make sure all the other stars added together is much less than the 5 star and the one star failure rate is less than 5 depending on the number of reviews

I chose the 1866mhz ram as i know my machine can go up to 2167mhz even though its showing its age
