There is some extra functionality if you hook it up to a windows computer but the benefits of that are dubious at best

The underside of the mouse has a mode toggle as well as a handy slot for storing the usb transceiver

Pairing is simple while of course either plugging in the cord or using the transceiver has no pairing

Hyperx does have some customization software on windows but it doesnt seem capable of updating the mouses settings outside of when the software is running

Even if you add on the included grip tape it remains almost unbelievably light

The installed feet glide effortlessly over most surfaces and the extra will no doubt come in handy if they do ever wear out
