Pros

Nice, vibrant colors. Quiet vibrant even after wash. Hint on the pink and mint- use a lot! Came with 2 color pouches per color.

The kit comes with everything you need, and there are a ton of resources online. Good instructions included in kit and easy to follow. Great directions. Great resource online. Easy to use, great results.

This is an excellent beginner's kit for those that want to get into tie-dying. It's great fun, its only messy if you are not careful. Definitely use the gloves, they're really large though if you’re using with kids.

Cons

Not as good as 2 step process (soaking in soda ash, then twisting and dying). Oh well. Shame on the seller.

Dye fades quickly. Not enough dye for 6-16x16 towels let alone 30 projects. They were all had a murky brownish tint. From bright vibrant colors we were left w light blue solid colored fabrics.
