Other than that it does work but from the feel of it i doubt if it works for long
The only thing that keeps them in place is the cover but the cover is so thin that the batteries make it bulge and so the cover doesnt seat properly either and if it gets jarred just a little it will pop off and the batteries will spill out
I was also upset because even though it didnt say it was backlit in the description the images posted with the item showed a backlit keypad leading me to believe it was indeed backlit
