Touchscreen works perfectly, the os is fast and easy to customize. Home physical button is clutch and i put system settings in the app drawer right above it.
Customer service through registering online and quick email responses. Warranty and additional warranty on the website. Thati was able to diagnose some truck issues already with it.
Between doctors and the va hospital idid nothave the time to install y atoto unit. The product is easy to install.
Cons
Wifi is terribly slow. It randomly turns off and resets everything. Even plugging it in rarely works. And the android auto disconnects for no reason.
Radio plays louder than the bluetooth items. Volume knob goes from zero to medium on the first click. Sound from a phone (android or apple) whether plugged in or over bluetooth is very low.
Tech support is not the sharpest either. It's not due to the wiring.
Highlights
Quality
The audio quality is a vast step up from the old oem unit.
The screen is large and bright and the sound quality is really good even with the factory speakers.
I can remove the screen protector, but i am stuck with the button scratch.
Had an issue with the head unit right after i had it installed and coordinated a return.
Packaging/appearance
The sound is great and you won't need a active crossover because these let you set them right on the heaunit.
I installed the atoto s8 into my 1999 toyota 4runner a few weeks ago and i do not regret it.
The built in music app that came with the radio leaves much to be desired but i installed my own music app from the playstore.
Competitiveness
She is very knowledgeable about atoto products.
Also, the am/fm radio works well, something that other no-name brands i've seen struggle with.
Maybe helpful maybe not - i replaced an xtrons unit with this atoto and i have zero regrets.

This car stereo works just like a tabletor better because its got gps antenna and internet antenna

For updating the download must be unzipped and the contents of the root folder placed in on the flash drive root not the root folder from unzipping
