Pros
I pick and strum and it sounds beautiful. The fret action is easy on the fingers. Have not played through an amp yet.
Electric pre-amp panel has tuner, bass, middle and treble controls. Nice pickup also and the onboard tuner is a plus.
As a beginner, i feel the action is right on. I'm a beginner but it smokes my cheaper starter guitars. What surprised me is how fast it was delivered. The usa is a 3,000 miles wide country, yet shipments within it come less than a week.
The tone is sweet, and the neck feels great. The sounds projection is better then most guitars that costs three times more like the lower end taylor, breedlove and even martin. My dream guitar still awaits me but i needed something to hold me over til... Read More

Sounds awsome and is very good quality.
The electronics seems well built and the xlr input is a nice touch.
String height, high frets, poor construction, etc.
Then you have no one but yourself to blame for owning a poorly made guitar or problems playing the instrument.

I saw one of these locally for sale at a pretty good price.

4 stars because i waited too long for shipment.
What surprised me is how fast it was delivered.
The usa is a 3,000 miles wide country, yet shipments within it come less than a week.
Packaging/appearance
The guitar came in a nice safe ibanez box and with strings.
The first thing that i noticed was the mahogany smell when i opened the box.
Daughter opened box, tuned it and within 10 minutes, she was playing.
Competitiveness
In my opinion, for sound, quality, and playibility this guitar rivals the best out there.
That is the only reason i gave it 4 stars is because there are better ones at higher prices.
But i played this one at guitar center and compared it to a martin there, and honestly, there wasn't that much of a difference.

Fret edges are sharp some string buzz need to spend more money for playing comfort i like the built in tuner

If you yes you reading this are teetering on the edge unsure as to whether this is the right guitar to pick anxious about having to commit to a several hundred dollar decision that you cant easily take back this is your sign that youve found the right guitar
