Pros

Ibanez grs 5 is an excellent beginner-intermediate bass. It plays and sounds good with crisp notes and minimal buzz. The sound that comes out of the amp is very robust.

Thin neck makes it quick. Can go deep or funk thin. Ibanez is tops and rolls with the times making tweaks and improvements year after year. The neck is wider so have to play until i can stretch my fingers.

The color is darker than the picture but it actually looks better. Sounds great, light and looks more like cherrywood rather than just a 'transparent red' the weight is perfect the sounds were crisp putting bee strings on is fairly simple!

The active equalization really boosts the bass. I crank the treble and midrange up all the way on my amp. The extra boost knob is fantastic.

Cons

Fret buzzing abounds and the hardware is questionable at best. Still has potential to get fixed since the issue seems to be the wiring. It's a nice guitar, but why are they saying you are saving 92%?
