Pros

Bassmods makes a preamp harness with a volume/pull-passive knob. It pushes bass and treble (mostly bass) while notching the mids. The range is great from the rumbling lows to bright highs.

Cons

Don't buy this nothing but hassle. I own other bass guitars and plug them up play them but this brand is trash. This is the 3rd bass yes 3rd bass and it quit no life nothing all 3 the same.

I got this instrument in black as a christmas present a couple of years ago, and i am still not disappointed.

The underside of the lower end of the fretboard is not quite flush with the body, but the gap doesn't present any problems.

Price

The workmanship is better than the price would suggest.

If you just gave it to me and made me have to guess how much it cost, id say $500-800.

Competitiveness

This is absolutely the best begginer bass ever!

The bridge is lighter and cheaper than on their higher series, but i have no complaints with it.
