Pros & Cons
Pros
Excellent beginner bass. The fretboard is fast as you have small frets. Fellow musicians tell me i will need to upgrade in a year or two.
My wood grain didn't look quite as good as the one in the pic, don’t care, it’s awesome. The fit and finish is great. Beautiful finish, hardware and pickups.
For $250 bucks this thing is a gem. Other than that, great bang for the buck.
Cons
The strings near the bottom have a weird twist/fringe to them. A poorly manufactured, inconsistent instrument.
Highlights
Quality
Good sound quality, decent mid range pick ups.
Great sound, great look and easy to wear for long periods.
With musical instruments, the poorer quality, the harder they are to learn to play.
The pickup heights were uneven, the bridge was off on each string, and the neck was bowed just enough playing a open string rat... Read More

Its a great bass for the price.
It is a great instrument for the price.
For $250 bucks this thing is a gem.
Didn’t wanna spend a whole buncha money, because at my age, i’m not gonna go pro and tour the world.
Shipping
Seller was very responsive, product was shipped out and package nicely.
Quick trip to your friendly luiter, and you are good as gold.
I vowed never to order ibanez because of the acoustic bass sent to me prior that had frets sharp enough to cut my fingers off, ... Read More

It came intune right out of the box.
But this instrument was playable right out of the shabby box they sent it in!
Competitiveness
I currently own a number of other bass guitars in different vintages - fender, rickenbacker, gibson, roscoe etc.
This bass and the gsrm20 (mikro) are close cousins, as the mikro is about 20% smaller, anddoes not have the phat ii circuit.
Better than the $4,000 rickenbacker that i had and at only $279.

Not a big deal for anyone that knows how to adjust the action properly

The other thing that was off was the intonation

It was quite a bit sharp on every string

Bottom line i feel for this bass is a great sounding bass for the price however if you have no experience making the adjustments ive described i would probably look elsewhere

A beginner would struggle trying to learn with the action at 10mm and with the intonation as far off as mine was it would sound out of tune at the lower frets

The coloring wasnt exactly as expected but its not a deal breaker

I am not a musician so im not sure how a musician would say it but it resonates a lot
