Pros & Cons
Pros
This little axe is a cutie. The finish is a heavy polyurethane that is thickly applied.
Default string configuration is slick because you can play banjo-like fingerstyle. Currently using 10/14/24/36 phosphor bronze strings. Seems to hold its tuning.
Violin, viola, mandolin, mandola and accordion. Would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a hobby instrument.
Soundboard - solid spruce :) 5.
Short scale and ultra-skinny neck make for easy playing. Long intervals are now within reach without stretching your fingers out. The narrowness really based on perspective.
Cons
The fret board is way too thin. The neck is ridiculously small. Do not buy this.
Highlights
Quality
Wasn't quite sure what to expect for this price, but i am very pleased by the quality of this instrument.
I am very happy with this instrument, especially for the price.
You'll get by with the stock tuners until you do.
Not much sound strumming with my thumb like i did with the uke, had to learn how to use a guitar pick.
Price
You should not expect that for this price.
Shipping
The padding is very thin, and it is not suitable for shipping a guitar in.
If i had realized the weather was going to spike up to 112 degrees i would have gotten expedited shipping.
Packaging/appearance
The action was good, right out of the box.
Competitiveness
Came very well packaged from the seller, adorama.
This is a huge plus for guitars amd ukes.
