I was trying to attach to three verticals on the rack whereas i found securing them to just two was adequate and the bag does not shift position at all

Overall they are an effective solution if you need to park somewhere where you cant keep your bags on your bike

The major issue i have with this bag is if its not full the sides are too flexible and get stuck in the spokes which is first and foremost a dangerous thing to have happen when you are on a busy street but also getting whacked by the spokes over and over beats up the seams on the edges and wears them out prematurely

It is not the easiest to carry when off the bike but that is just kind of the nature of how something like this is going to be shaped

In the smaller pockets i can fit my phone wallet a protein bar or two in the other one i typically keep my road kit electronic tire gauge adjustable wrenchknife bike multitool and patch kit
