When the machine is making the ice the ice is tipped into a basket while it makes the next batch while in the basket and the machine is making the ice the ice doesnt melt

Of course once switched off any ice left in the basket will melt

Best way to use this is to make the ice in batches on the large setting then turn it off as it only takes about an hour to make a good size bag of ice for the weekend

Very nice ice cubes within 7 mins as advertised only thing is that the ice cubes melt but it does state that its not refrigerated

It worked reasonably well for 3 months then broke and keeps tripping off the electricity in my house
