Pros

It’s so versatile and has not faded. It fits like a perfect t-shirt.

I'm now an icebreaker collector, this is my 3rd one in a variety of styles. It’s legit guys, i promise. I’ve also purchased smartwool version - both brands are excellent.

Icebreaker's everyday 175 100% merino wool items are the perfect layer almost year round. It has all of the chic of a black cashmere sweater, but easier to wear (due to its thinness) and far more durable. The wool is not at all itchy.

Cons

But i'm still underwhelmed. I have other wool base tops that are much sturdier than these.

High quality fabric that does not pill or seem to wear out.

This is a nice quality base layer that has a nice stretch for movement.

But i don't wear thermals enough to spend this much money on them, even if the quality is better.

I think i'm becoming a fan of icebreaker with the few buys including this one recently.

Price

If the price were lower, i would recommend this to anyone.

Packaging/appearance

One of my top favorite base layers out of the many ones that i own.

While i really wanted this base layer to work for me and it’s fit was nice, i couldn’t handle the itchiness.

Competitiveness

I’ve also purchased smartwool version - both brands are excellent.

This one was softer than the one by smartwool but was still a tad scratchy (although not quite itchy) for me.
