This unit has 3 filter stages in one cartridge. It removes all the chlorine taste from the tap water. The taste and quality is much better than ourtap water.

Cons
When i picked it up to bring it upstairs, it was leaking a little on the walk-up. It's a user error at this point, or if it's remnants of when i flushed the system.

I love the compact size of this ro system and it works very well and having instant hot water is a nice addition
This is a very well made product
This unit has a sediment layer carbon layer and then finally the ro membrane
This new unit is frankly a backup because i can’t be without filtered water for even a day

It is a huge item and i wouldn’t really call it a counter item so i keep it on the table we have set up in our pantry

But having little faith in my countys water system an ro system seemed a good way to improve the quality of what i drink

What confused me a bit is that theres a waste stream which is pumped back into the refillable tank
