I own a s5 active and i was too timid to put the metal contact plate on the inside of battery compartment in fears that time would boa the battery door and make the phone loose its water tight seal

I did deduct one star as in time i can see this will scratch the back of the phone

Im sure others would be leary about putting a metal item that could scratch the battery in time

I do have to move my phone because the vent air and heat could over heat or freeze your phone

The portion that grips on to the air vent is bulky and only slid into air vents with either horizontal or vertical wide open slits

And driving with it on my dashboard is unacceptable
