Pros & Cons
Pros
It's for backpacking. Used it for kayak camping and backpacking so far. This chair is very compact, super lightweight, very sturdy, comfortable and does not sink in the dirt/mud.
The fabric is sturdy. Added the fabric. But so sturdy and the fabric feels really well made and lasting. Not to mention, the red ones we bought are a rich berry color. Priced very fair.
Setup and takedown is fairly easy and quick. They setup quickly, once you learn how to collapse them then that part becomes easier. You just gently start to open them and they do what they were designed to do - open up seemingly on their own!
The chairs let you naturally lean back and support your rear, spine and back. When you sit down, the back poles bend in and kind of hug you. Very comfy to use.
Sturdy enough to support 200 lbs but comfy enough for my buck o five high school runner. The sides are sturdy enough if you need a little push to get you up. I like their big feet for setting up on sand or other unstable surfaces, and i also like that... Read More
Cons

Lightweight, a bit confusing to disassemble but did its job with a small footprint and cost half of the more expensive heavier duty chairs.
Shipping
I ordered and paid for 2 chairs and have only received one!
Packaging/appearance
Just opening the box and pulling the chair out to set it up, i was impressed with the tubing.
I would definitely buy this chair again and i would recommend one if you are going on back packing trips.
Then i opened this tiny, super light packet and there it was in all its glory!
Haven’t tried it back packing yet although i know it’s slightly heavier than other backpacking chairs.
Competitiveness
I took this chair into to boulder mountains in utah and it worked out better than any other chair that i have used in the past.
They are much more stable than similar rei chairs that our friends brought for the trip.
