As soon as you shut off alarm goes right back to 3 minutes it was set at never resetting

I do not know how necessary it is to turn it off and its likely that it drains the battery very little even when left on but it is a nuisance

The onoff switch is tiny but given the displays low battery drain it why bother to turn it off

You could either use the builtin stand or stick it on the fridge with the strong magnet
