The material seem sturdy and good quality it resists some flex and there are no problems with weight balance except the design can be difficult to set properly in the shower floor the shower has to be level in order to place this organizer and sadly mine is level in way to drain water so the shelf stays inclined a bit which i dont feel comfortable
