Keep in mind though that the maximum total power of the adapter is 2amps so the unit is not designed to be a standalone charger

I was disappointed however that this hub could not even read a flash drive without being powered from the external power adapter

Only issue is that it doesnt seem to work with my cellphone otg cable

Not sure if that is the fault of the unit or my phone so i cant in fairness doc the hub for it

One note it is quite big though so make sure you make a paper model if size might be an issue
