If you get this product the portable dvdplayer the first thing you do before playing anything is to take out the placeholder paper inside the machine

With usb video files i could not play any mp4 so they need to be converted to avi files in order for it to work

As far as i can tell all the functions are on the machine so the remote control is not necessary
