Anyway the reason i gave it 5 star is because of it music quality and ease of use of the app because in the app when you select the music icon it takes you straight to your music library so no searching around and it does play instantly and it is quite loud and the lights do beat to the music and also change color with the musici have put some pictures on the first one is from this bulb and the second is a normal bulb about 40 watts and both taken with the same camera settings in manual mode so mt normal bulb is over exposed because i did not want to change the settingsso final thoughts this is no good at all as a task light but ideal in my opinion for a kids bedroom but you may need an adapter for it e27 female to b22 male then it will fit in a standard push and turn socket you can get these from as little as a £1and remember i am only talking about my red bulb because the other ones like the red and black which i was expecting maybe much brighter so you can use it as a bulbi should also say i got this item at a discounted price or for free for my honest review and they are my honest opinionif you found this review or my pictures helpful please click the yes button and i would appreciate a comment if you thought it was not helpful or i have made a mistake rather than just clicking the no buttonthank you very much for your help my phone connected straight away just make sure you have your bluetooth visible in order to pair the speaker with your device if you pair it to the speaker part of the bulb in the bluetooth settings you can then use the light as an external speaker for all media like watching youtube movies or just listening to a certain playlist as the iegeek app brings up your full song list i was sent this item for free in exchange for an honest review

The first thing i have to mention is that i had difficulty working out how to use the speaker aspect of this bulb but customer service was brilliant and helpful and after a couple of quick and indepth emails with clear advice and instructions i managed to get it working easily so thanks to the seller for that

This colourchanging bluetooth bulb is such a quirky idea but it works just as well as i’d hoped

It’s a really fun product that takes a bit of time to get set up but is worth it once you get there
