The quality was exceptional and so easy to transfer them onto my phone via the wi fi on the camera.
The sound quality isn't great either, especially if it's in the waterproof housing, but not really an issue for me.
Price
All in all well worth the price.
(you cannot seriously compare a go pro which costs 9 or 10 times the price).
Packaging/appearance
Sticks really well with no worry of loosing the camera as there is a metal safety strap in the pack too.
Competitiveness
I decided against for the high priced brands given that it would be my sons using it mostly.
Bought for my 8 year old for holiday , excellent for the price .
One bit of advice, buy a floating selfie stick.

The camera films very well in 1080 with good framerate and seems to not struggle too much on a rough ride and survives impact well when inside the waterproof casing
