It's lightweight and has adequate space for its compact build. Easy to fill in the cracks and logo with spackle as everything is indented and not raised.

The lid is friction fit at two corners and comes off for easy cleaning. The underside of the lid actually has cup holders too. It’s easy to take off and flip. The igloo version has a flat top that snaps tightly.

Wanted a 2nd newer one for after smoking meats. This is the second 12-can igloo cooler i have purchased, and it's even better than the first--it's tighter and keeps the cold things cold longer. Old one that stows under seat in compartment.

Very durable and nice red color. Handle is sturdy. Holds everything nicely. Durable construction for normal everyday use.

Cons

This one is not as durable as his old one and the cover keeps coming off. There is something rattling around in the cover--not a big problem but one questions the quality of manufacture.

Worth the $23 paid for this item.

That protection does come at a cost however.
