When i first got this the seething tabs on the red black were facing the wrong ways

After taking my time and carefully examined the connection i slipped the black rubberized banding holding the connection down i saw how the positive negative connections were connected

I then pushed the negative up about 12” and they slid apart

I’m not a big fan of anderson connectors but some manicure them
