Purchased this rocketek hub adapter to replace one by satechi because it connects to a usb-3 port vice usb-c on my 2017 imac.

Not sure whether the fault lies with rocketek or kobo firmware, but so far, so good.

    I needed the usbc port on the back of the imac to connect a second monitor and the satechi hub adapter would not support hdmi through its front usbc port

    All worked well until i tried to synch my kobo ereaders to caliber on the imac

    So i have a work around but would have preferred to connect the kobos to the rocketek hub to charge and synch as i can my iphone
