Pros
These are life savers. I have a fused thumb that gets quite sore from daily activities. The splint is a bit flexible at the top which helps yet still offers stabilizing support.

When i reordered a medium, it fit just right and provided just the amount of support that i wanted. It also runs quite snug.
Cons
The sizing is off. It's is too big when a snug fit is needed. Buyer beware if you think the padding may bother you.
The wrist opening is non-adjustable. The actual brace (the rigid insert) does not extend very far down your wrist from your thumb.

I actually have a similar stabilizer from another company and the first day it felt like the right size but after a couple days it turned out to be too big and didn’t give enough compression

My pain isnt in the wrist but starts in the fatty part of the thumb ends at first thumb knuckle

I have been using kinesiotape but i had an allergic reaction to the tape after using it for a couple of months and it was expensive to keep buying it
