Pros
The splint is a bit flexible at the top which helps yet still offers stabilizing support. As often happens the belly filled with beans can become loose and then you secure it to keep it from flapping around. It works for either!
It helps to keep me from overusing my thumb. Not too stiff, not too mushy. It cushions the fleshy underside of my thumb when i am too long on the computer.
These are life savers. They keep my thumbs protected from inadvertent squishing when asleep.
Cons
There is a gel pad on the palm/inner wrist area that cannot be moved.
I feel like i've be cheated and force to keep something that doesn't work for me. The brace only reaches the top of this joint, so it helps a little, but not enough.
The padded part of the glove fits okay, but the part that fits over my thumb is too long and completely covers the tip of my thumb so that i can't use the glove while i'm typing. Imak needs to make the opening wider and add a velcro closure or somethi... Read More

You can wear it on either hand but padding for palm of hand is on top when worn on l hand

Comments on the stitching are accurate one of the support structures presses up towards the end of the thumb and wears its way through the pocket it is in

I kept pressing it back in and this eventually broke off the top cm which took enough pressure off the bottom of it to stop pressing it up
